It's the freakin weekend! I'm about to take a few days off from work to adventure around New England a bit. Time to get my winter on, but not before I post my lasted adventure to Basilica Farm and Flea in Hudson, NY. Hudson is tucked away nicely on the banks of Hudson River and surrounded by the Catskills Mountains. Found this treasure through Facebook and friends. Basilica is magical and not what I excepted at all. Usually I do some research about specific places I want to go to, but this time I left it alone and I'm glad I did. I enjoy being surprised. Amazing artist, crafters, collectors, chefs and farmers from Brooklyn to Hudson. They gather in this rustic, floor to ceiling window brick building. We got some really great photos of the light filling up the room. The food was also superb. Local coffee roasters to enthusiastic young farmers were the bees knees. I Believe Basilica is once year in November. You have a full year to open your hearts, minds and mouths. What a great community in such a great authentic place.
Ps. This light needs to follow me wherever I go. Please and thank you.
I was contemplating whether or not I wanted to take pictures of me sporting the Vintage Calvin Klein sweater, but since I hadn't taken this Cotton fleece sweater off all week, I thought...well why the hell not? The light was good, I was feeling good. Lets make magic. CK can be pricey, lets be honest, but like any GOOD pair of denim there has to be a GOOD long lasting sweater and I can say for sure that CK is it. It's simple, warm, a semi loose fit and MACHINE WASH! Yes I said it, machine washed. You don't hear that too often. So go on, buy yourself something good for the holidays that will last you for many, many more.
