It's been way to long and instead of diving into why, I rather we get right down to it. Let's talk about Clean Green Beauty. Mmmmm just thinking about it makes my skin feel all squeaky clean. I didn't fully embrace Clean Green Beauty until last year. What I'm referring to is Clean Green Beauty having no Chemicals (if possible), no testing on animals, vegan friendly and all natural ingredients. All natural was foreign to me until I started experimenting by making my own face scrubs. I discovered really quickly that my skin was very much dehydrated. I have extremely dry fair skin with red blemishes. I needed very quickly to fix it. Tons of make...hell no. Chemical acne products...yeah no. Eating DD donuts...sadly no. Those never worked for me and I never wanted them to, expect for the donut part. Those "hippy" blogs you read about, "You are what you eat" Take note people. #TRUTH. Not only does food and water (being the key elements here) directly effect your skin but the everyday products you use...oh and maybe that attitude of yours too.
Everyones skin is different of course so not all I talk or will talk about will applies. I hope to shed some light on you all with different beauty products for all skin types.
Lets me just note quickly. YES I do and will fall off the bandwagon and buy that awesome NARS concealer or Bobbie Brown's lipstick. Just remember to balance yourself and use your money wisely. Most importantly. Take care of your body.
So lets introduce two of my favorite Clean Green Beauty today. Origins has been around for some time, but I'm just now discovering it. I'm a little embarrassed to admit that it's taken me this long. Although they are not 100% natural they don't pretend to be. Not everyone can be so picky these days. If you want sunscreen in your moisturizer, you are going to get some chemical ingredients. But thats ok! You pick the products that will help you now and for the future. That being said, YouTube has put a lot of products to get rid of black heads and most seem super intriguing but slightly disturbing. I'm not sure if peeling layers of your skin off is a good thing but for now lets go down this little path I call....hmm...safer. This charcoal mask goes on easily and comes off just the same. No stickiness, no redness and no pulling of the skin. Does it work though? I have high hopes, I do see a different in pore sizes, so I'm feeling good about this one. As for the foundation, well that was a hard decision. I'm pretty loyal when it comes to finding a beauty product I love. I made the jump and it evened out my skin like magic. For dry skin, it add's a bit of hydration which gives a slightly dewy look, but never greasy. To all who are nervous about trying a new foundation, I hope you have faith in what I'm telling you. Give it a go and let me know!
