Your Home, Your Story

How do you tell a story of someones life within their home? Is there a way to explain the cracked foundation? All I know is that love begins and ends at home, mostly importantly where you desire to be. In a one bedroom apt or in a van. In a luxury home, or a tent. But wait what about half of the population that doesn't have a home? Bad foundational cracks that aren't from years of warm family moments. Homes can't always just be a roof above your head. The true story is your honesty and gratitude in what you have. If you are blessed to have that roof over your head, than make sure you fill it with family, friends, history and love. Man, do I still have so much to learn. So let's start with you.

Meet Christiana! In her apartment you will find trinkets from third world countries, pictures of her mother's youth, antique finds maybe made up great historical events, cute potted plants and left over furniture that was once loved, are now loved all over again. Christiana dressed up her place of all things beautiful. New, old, and everything in between. I loved watching the light filter through her windows, the layout was charming and her smile was contagious. She played some records and posed to water plants, that probably didn't need it. We talked about travel and moving to far off places that are made up of amazing food, diversity, and culture. Truly felt welcomed and who doesn't like making a friend out of the experience?

Let me make your place into a storybook!

I mean, I couldn't put this place better together if i tried! Pure adorable!
